My research interests focus on Web information search, extraction,
and integration, where the goal is make information on the Web
easy to access, manage and integrate. I am specialized in Web
data extraction which concerns unsupervised information extraction
from Deep Web. In addition to Web, I also work on data mining
problems like pattern discovery and data visualization.

My main research interests focus on Machine Learning, Data Mining
and Probabilistic Models. Currently I am working on Information Extraction from the World Wide Web with Tom Mitchell. |

My main interests
are in combining theoretical and applied aspects of machine learning
and statistics, for example, by deriving theoretical guarantees
for empirically successful methods and, conversely, by translating
theoretical insights into practical applications. My previous applications
include modeling species habitats, neuronal ensembles, and semantic
relationships from small samples. Currently, I am working on decision
making under uncertainty in the context of multi-agent learning
and planning. |

My interests are in learning probabilistic graphical models and their
application to statistical web data extraction. In my previous work,
we have developed an integrated web data extraction framework for both
structure mining and text content processing. I'm now working on learning
hierarchical models from partially observed data. |
