The machine learning TA awards were presented for the best teaching assistants for Fall 2018 and Spring 2019. Winners were chosen by nominations from students, faculty, and fellow TAs.

Doctoral Researcher, Lisa Lee has received “The TA of the Year Award” for the second year in a row - due to her contributions, efforts, and kindness towards our students in machine learning.

The awards were presented on October 8, 2019, during one of our ML tea events at the Gates Hillman Center. The classes in which our awardees were teaching assistants are very large and challenging, we are truly thankful for all of their efforts.

We would like to congratulate the following machine learning TA Award winners!
